Training plans

Build a Training Plan Around You

HeyPao reads your past training and the way you actually run, then builds a plan made for your race. Week by week it gets you ready for the start line.

Step 1 of 5. What are you training for? Under 50km, 50km, 100km or 100 mile plus Step 2 of 5. Setting a goal time for UTMB Mont-Blanc, capped at the official 46 hour 45 minute cut-off Step 3 of 5. Tell us more about you: how much history to read, connect Strava or Apple Health Step 4 of 5. Plan start and end dates and how many days a week you run Step 5 of 5. Last minute details: surfaces you can run on, kilometres or miles, metres or feet

20 km to 100 miles

One builder, every distance. The shape of the block changes with the race, not just the mileage.

Built around your week

Three days or seven. Long runs land where you can actually do them, and rest is part of the plan.

More than one race

Keep a plan running for every race on your calendar. Tap one to make it active.

Race pace plans

Hit your goal time.
Every race.

Pick your race. Set a time goal. HeyPao analyses the course profile and your strengths, then generates a checkpoint-by-checkpoint pacing strategy you can actually run.

A HeyPao race plan for Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB MY100: projected time 22hr 24min, positive split, with each checkpoint listed with its arrival time, distance, elevation gain and pace
A real race plan for Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB, MY100.

Paced to the course

9,900 m of climbing does not spread evenly over 174 km. Splits are set against the actual profile, not the average.

Cut-offs are hard limits

Every segment carries its cut-off time, and your goal is capped at the race's official one. No plan that finishes after the mats are gone.

Tuned to how you run

Strong climber, cautious descender, ten minutes at each aid station. The plan is built around that, and you can adjust any split.

Race discovery

Discover races worldwide.

Browse a curated catalogue of over 2,814 road and trail races from around the world. 100-milers, 100Ks, 50Ks and backyard ultras, plus the marathons, halves, 10Ks and 5Ks you build up with. Both of the app's ways in, the map and the calendar, running live on this page.

Reading the same catalogue the app reads. Pins use the app's baked city coordinates, so cities the app geocodes on the fly aren't plotted here. The calendar shows every dated race.
